Countdown to Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Playwright & Director: Seizure. Playing the roles of Truman and Lila. Danielle was last seen as the Captain Hook and Mrs. Darling in Peter/Wendy and Witch, Into The Woods. She was also in the UK's debut of  Christine Evans, Trojan Barbie as Hecuba. Amanda Redman's production of Trains, Not Boats And Planes at The Questors Theatre. Kansas City Fringe Festival, Script to the Bone. Studies the Margolis Method, and was a presenter at the 2nd annual NY Conference. Danielle is director, playwright, and producer.  She studied at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts (Masters). Equity UK.

Playing the Role of Director Dickie Smith in Seizure. Mix is enjoying his resurgence in Theater after a 45-year hiatus. He says, “Being part of such a talented cast, bringing characters to life on stage, is a real joy.”  Most recently, he played Cinderella's Father in Into The Woods and the Clown, Escapologist, and a Ruthless Russian in Matilda.  Prior work includes Little Women, Newsies, All Shook Up, It Should Have Been You and Something’s Afoot.

Playing the Role of Caris Stewart. 

Janet is a dynamic theatre artist with extensive experience in performance, production, and improvisation. She has taken on a variety of memorable stage roles, including Frau Blucher in Young Frankenstein, Ouiser in Steel Magnolias, and the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz. Beyond acting, Janet has contributed as a director, producer, set designer, and stage manager for numerous productions. Her film credits include Matchmaker Mary and Sam Steele Detective Agency. She has trained internationally, studying the Margolis Method at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and honing her improvisational skills with iO Theatre and Second City. Janet’s passion for theatre extends to all aspects of storytelling, where she continues to create, inspire, and entertain.

Playing the Role of Gaylen Reid. Ben is a versatile performer and director with a passion for theatre and storytelling. With a background in Aerospace Engineering and Industrial Design from Iowa State  His stage credits include Guildenstern in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead, Lucas Beineke in The Addams Family, and Brian Howard in It Shoulda Been You. He has also directed productions such as One Brief Shining Moment for the Underground New Play Festival. A skilled tenor/baritone, Ben brings musicality to his performances, along with experience in stage combat, dance, and a variety of accents. His dedication to the craft keeps him open to diverse roles in both plays and musicals, always seeking new creative challenges.

Playing the role of Vera and Alexandra Stillman. 

Melissa is a dedicated performer with a passion for bringing memorable characters to life on stage. She has portrayed a diverse range of roles, including Clairee in Steel Magnolias  Reverend Mother in Nunsense, and Mrs. Paroo in The Music Man. Her comedic timing and dramatic versatility have been showcased in productions such as The 39 Steps (Pamela/Margaret/Annabella), The Foreigner (Betty Meeks), and The Odd Couple (Florence Unger). Whether delivering heartfelt performances in classics like The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe or diving into farcical comedy in Farndale’s Murder at Checkmate Manor, Melissa brings energy and depth to every role she plays.

Playing the role of  Charley Declan: David is a passionate performer who thrives on the magic of theatre, bringing characters to life and fostering a sense of connection among cast, crew, and audience. With a diverse range of roles, he has portrayed Wadsworth in Clue, the Baker in Into the Woods, and Fagin in Oliver, among many others. His love for the stage extends beyond performance, embracing the camaraderie and creative energy that theatre fosters. A skilled tenor with a talent for dialects, David brings depth and authenticity to every role. 

Playing the role of Elena Stewart. Nicole is a dedicated performer and drama educator with a rich background in theatre and musical theatre. She honed her craft with The Beck Youth Theatre, appearing in numerous productions, including Guys and Dolls (Agatha), Fiddler on the Roof (Yente), and Loserville (Holly’s Mum). Her passion for performance extended to Shakespeare, where she played Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream for the Shakespeare Schools Festival. Nicole pursued her love for the stage at the University of Chichester, earning a degree in Music and Musical Theatre. She also has experience as a drama teacher with Perform, where she led workshops in drama, dance, and singing to inspire young performers. 

Playing the role of Kingsbury. He is absolutely thrilled to help bring Seizure to life. Fred did a little bit of theatre in high school in West Texas, but then took a break for a few decades before joining Robidoux Resident Theatre (RRT) in St. Joseph, Missouri, in 2017. Since then, he has appeared on stage in more than a dozen plays and musicals, including the roles of Otto Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank, Richard Hannay in The 39 Steps, and Bill Austin in Mamma Mia! When not on the stage, you may find Fred behind the scenes, helping to build sets, creating special props, stage managing, and serving on the RRT Board of Directors. Special thanks go out to Fred's husband, Paul, who generously encourages Fred's eclectic hobbies.

Playing the role of Asher. Von is a dynamic and versatile performer known for his comedic timing and strong stage presence. His recent credits include Dennis Galahad in Spamalot (2025), Nigel Bottom in Something Rotten (2024), and Sheldon Saperstein in The Prom (2024). He has also taken on iconic roles such as Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Max (Cecil Haversham/Arthur the Gardener) in The Play That Goes Wrong. With experience in both musical theatre and farcical comedy, Von brings energy and authenticity to every performance. Whether delivering laughs in Grease as Johnny Casino or harmonizing in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, he continues to engage audiences with his talent and passion for the stage.
